I’m a single mother that balances her time between her kid, a 9-5, a social life, and being a business owner 📲. Excluding all the side hustles I’ve explored over the years, I make just enough to afford the basics with my 9-5.

The not-so-glamorous life made me realize I wanted more out of life without spending heaps of time I don’t have to manage another stream of income. But recently I discovered the secret to selling digital products passively🧩

And it’s a lot easier than you think!

Here are the 5 tools I use to automate my digital product business:

1. CANVA 🌸
I use Canva to create all of my digital products and the best part, it’s FREE 😍 I’m not going to lie, the better you are at creating in Canva the easier it is to push out aesthetic and valuable digital products. It’s definitely an important tool to master. BUT you can always start with an MMR or PLR product if you aren’t ready to create your own from scratch.

2. Instagram🔥
Instagram is probably my top favorite platforms to find leads on. It’s an aesthetic platform where a lot of people who are looking to change their lives and are actively searching for the information to do so.

3. Pinterest‼️
Want to find what the people want to know? Pinterest is a great resource to receive information AND sell information. I use Pinterest to find the questions, then post my products on the platform and test their popularity.

4. Stan.Store or Beacons🧩
Either link hosting platform will help you host your products without launching an actual store. I find these faster, easier and more cost effective than creating an entire online store.

5. Many Chat 🔓
Call-to-actions are everything when it comes to selling online. And you don’t want to be answering them at all hours of the night or when you’re trying to spend time with your family.

I spent years trying to figure out the best path to launching and selling that wouldn’t take me away from what and who I loved.

I remember a time when I used to get up every day believing I couldn’t be anything more than a single mom who worked 40+ hours a week in the medical field trying and failing to save up for the things I needed. 😮‍💨

I dreaded going into work only to come home hours later too exhausted to play with my kid.

One day I realized that life would stay on this repetitive loop unless I took drastic action to change it.

It was either give in or get to work.

Once I realized life didn’t have to be a constant struggle, my eyes were open to digital marketing.

30 day of late nights spent learning and applying the knowledge and I was left with a full fledged automated business.

I honestly never thought it was possible, but I’m here doing it.

STEP ONE: 🧩 Start by choosing a niche. 🧩
I always suggest an interest or a hobby. If you’re awesome at parenting, cooking, fitness, finance. Choose a topic you could spend hours talking about. Then get on as many FB groups, Reddit boards, and Pinterest blogs as you can looking for the top issues and questions people have in your chosen niche.

STEP TWO: 🧩Start creating Content FOR Your Target Audience🧩
Many times we get stuck on the “selling,” and forget to establish our authority on a topic. Would you buy knowledge from someone who doesn’t seem to know what they’re talking about? NO! So in the beginning focus on creating value and the sales will follow

STEP THREE: 🧩Launch a digital product that answers a problem🧩
An ebook, a course, a template. There’s so many different types of digital products you can create. Use Canva + Chat GPT as a free resource to design and fill your product OR research and find MMR or PLR products to resell in your niche.

Remember it’s all about speaking to your target audience, and creating content that’s valuable to them.

Yes branding is fun, but attractive reels & aesthetic faceless content will only get you so far.

But these things take WAY too much time to set up while working a 9-5, taking care of kids, the home, yourself, ahhh! Let’s face it, sometimes a mama needs a better solution than a temporary get rich quick (but not really so quick) side hustle. I realized I needed to invest in something that was a little more reliable than getting lucky with an algorithm.
